Volvo Enthusiast

Ethan is more of a preservationist. Garaging his 1992 Saab 900s in the winter in favor of his Volvo 240. Ethan plans on travelling for UTIs automotive program.

Vintage Collectors

Alaska has a few individuals who make it their goal to collect vintage model Saabs (Vintage 93, 95, 96, 99 and Sonnet).

Race Team

December 2024 update: we have 1 member officially participating in ice races in Wasilla. Other interested members should speak up and plan out the upcoming season should you want to do Ice racing. Participents will recieve merch and support from the club. Entry vehicles must be a Saab and abide by race rules.

Saab racing in Europe consists of mostly New Generation 9-3 and 9-5 models. Both use GM engines and are highly moddable. That being said, the NG900, ’96+ 9000, OG 9-3, and OG 9-5 are all chalk full of potential with some builds exceeding 700BHP. Learning to tune your ECU is the hardest but often most fulfilling part of the job.
